Yee Chung & Christine - like fire and ice

Just based on first impressions, both Yee Chung and Christine are vocal, boisterous, and pretty damn good at their work.  The week before their wedding, I drank lots of water, popped vitamin C pills and mentally prepared myself for an explosion of noise as this hot-blooded couple lock horns, no, pinkie fingers.

Who would have known...
These two are like little doves when placed together.

It was uncanny, watching their strident jibes soften to cotten-soft undertones when speaking to each other.  Not only was this apparent in their voices, you could see it in the emotional glint of their eyes during their respective speeches.

The miracle of true affection tells no lies...

William & Aifeng spell love

During their banquet, William used all the letters in Aifeng's name to tell her why he loved her.  She was so touched she did not know how to respond, but who would?  She did give him a meaningful look though, and from that look I knew immediately that she had responded in kind...

Love can be expressed in so many ways, it's amazing.

Kwang Yong & Yee Ling - serenading the old town

My first taste of Ipoh, and boy was it was full of flavour!  Just like the indigenous cuisine, the character of the place and its people is near the surface of its skin - warm, with the feeling of immediate closeness.

Yee Ling is the Ipoh native while Kwang Yong is Singaporean, yet in Ipoh all big city complexities melt away.  This magical old town traces the roots of their relationship, and will forever hold special meaning for them.

Yee Ling loves the old town coffee she grew up with, and now Kwang Yong loves it too.
Now isn't that a co-incidence?  =)
